Walsham le Willows

The 2015 edition of the Pevsner guide to Suffolk West about The Street in Walsham le Willows says: " … the former Guildhall of c1500, now three cottages. Timber-framed and weather-boarded. Roof hipped at the W end with gable."

The Historic England listing here says: "This is a puzzling building said on documentary evidence to be a rebuilding on the site of the former parish guildhall, but, from the quality of the structure, more likely to be a conversion of the Guildhall building itself."

Thanks to the late Patrick Taylor for pointing me in the right direction on this one.
